Are there any contracts to sign with M-Dove?
No - you are with us for as long as you wish to be. We are not like your typical answering service or call center that forces you to sign 3 month or even 6 month contracts. Be sure to ask any company what the commitment is.
Can I pay in advance for services?
Yes - you can pay for up to a year of service with us and at discounted prices. Please call us for details.


How does M-Dove's answering and office services differ from the typical answering service?

1.. We do not charge a set-up fee, most answering services do.

2. We are actually less expensive than 70% of the average answering services out there, with so much more included. Most services charge between $50-$120 per month and then $.75-$1.50 per minute. For our Basic Solution with 200 minutes you will find that 90% of answering services are far more expensive than our $195.00 fee. Also as the old saying goes - you get what you pay for. The quality of your new staff is nearly untouchable compared to any answering service.

3. Instead of  having your calls go to "the floor" like at the typical answering service, we will assign a team of reps to your account. You, your callers, and your customers will get to know your new "staff". This adds a personalized touch and increases the credibility of your business. Remember - we are your company and will never say that we are a service.

4. An answering service will not allow you to use their address as your own. With us you have the use of our address in New York -  making your company appear much larger than it is. Image is very important in business.

5. We answer 95% of our calls before the third ring. Call an answering service and see how long it takes for them to answer.

6. Our employees are all trained in sales. Your new  team of employees will learn your company's products and services. They can take orders, give basic company/product/service information, take application information, book seminars or appointments, and qualify any inquiries to allow you to close the sale with ease. Obviously, you will not get those features with an answering service.

7.  Most answering services are 24/7/365. Our office hours (for our Office Services) are 8:30am - 9:00pm Monday-Friday, and 10:00am- 3:00pm on Saturday (Eastern Standard Time).  Also included in your service is a voicemail box personalized for your company and accessible 24/7/365, and a toll free number to check your messages. 

This reflects the nature of most businesses and we believe that 99.9% of callers call between these hours. Besides, how many companies do you know that are staffed at 4:00 am?  If someone answers the phone at 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning, you can be sure that it is an answering service and your callers know that. We have a "Follow Me" or "One Number" option that can be utilized enabling you to screen and still receive your calls after hours. 

8. We will perform Human Resources services, where an answering service will not. If a caller wishes to verify an employee's salary or work history, we handle the call to your satisfaction. When someone calls requesting HR services, we will transfer the call to another rep (your HR Dept.) who will supply the caller with the requested information. We log the name, company, and number of the caller and then supply the information you've given us to the caller. M-Dove is not responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide us.

9. We appreciate your business and referrals. For every person that you refer to us you can earn a free month of service (the $195.00 fee is waived for Basic service).

How often is my mail forwarded?
You may choose the intervals in which we send your mail to you. Mail can be forwarded daily, weekly, or monthly to an address specified by you. You may, at any time, change the intervals and/or address that your mail forwarded to.

Can we send you items to mail out for us from your address?
Of course. In the industry this is called re-mailing and it is included in our Basic Office Service. No one will ever know that you do not have a physical presence at our offices.

If I cancel within the first week, will I receive a full refund?
Yes, if you cancel within the first week of your first month of service you will receive a full refund. We offer this to all new clients in order to give us a test run. We believe you will immediately see the difference between your new professional staff here at M-Dov and a typical answering service.

Do you service international clients?
Yes, we have many clients that are foreign nationals, US citizens working overseas, and overseas business-people. We provide them with an office presence in the United States and open up the huge American market for their services or products.

How exactly does mail forwarding work?
As your mail arrives it is put into an envelope and mailed to its final destination. You can then process the mail. You may choose different intervals to have mail sent to you or we can send it out when received.

What if I hire or fire employees from my company?
We will grow with you. Upon enrollment you will be able to supply us with an initial file of employee names, dates of employment, salaries, etc. When your staff changes, simply notify A.I. to update your file. If a past or present employee needs salary or work history verification, A.I. will supply the caller with the necessary information. This will free you up from frivolous distractions, allowing you to focus on growing your business.

How long does it take for my Office Service to begin?
We will have your office fully functional within 24 hours of your order (payment is required to activate your service). 

Must I have an e-mail address to use your services?
No, you may retrieve all of your messages and inquire about your account by phone or fax. We prefer email because it is an efficient and inexpensive means of communication. Why pay long distance charges? Our goal is to reduce your costs, not add to them!

Do I have to pay for toll free service?
Having a toll free number makes you accessible to customers all over the country. With your Basic Office Service, toll free service is included - you do not have to pay extra for it. Upon registration you will be issued a toll free number for your business, and won't have to deal with the hassles of a separate phone bill! *Toll free service is only available in the U.S. and Canada. NYC numbers will also be issued to all clients as a part of the service.

What happens if you get mail for me after I've terminated my service?
We will e-mail you regarding the receipt of any letters or packages after your service is terminated. If you are no longer a client of ours, the fee for forwarding mail to your current address is .75 cents per letter plus postage. If no arrangements are made with us, postal requirements are we hold onto your mail for at least one year.

If I get phone calls after my service ends, what happens?
Upon termination of your service, your phone line will be disconnected. Anyone who calls you at that point will hear a message that states that the number they are calling is not in service. Therefore we will be unable to send messages to you.

With the  Human Resource aspect of the Basic Office Service, what happens if someone calls to check employment dates or references?
We will supply the caller with whatever information you have provided us with for that employee. Be advised that we take no responsibility for any information that you provide us.
